Art and Yoga in Paradise

Friday: The adventure begins at Plonk, a top notch wine bar and restaurant in downtown Bozeman, where you’ll be welcomed with a delicious lunch and have a chance to catch your breath. After, we’ll head to Paradise Valley where you’ll relax take some time to soak in the views at Chico Hot Springs. Once you’ve settled in, you’ll stretch those traveling legs with a short afternoon yoga session and an introduction to Ayurveda (an ancient system of health and healing born from the same tradition as yoga). Callie will discuss how you can incorporate these concepts into your life to bring you more into balance every day. Then you’ll get your creative juices flowing with an introduction to the weekend’s art festivities led by Jackie. That evening, you’ll enjoy a gourmet dinner in the extraordinary Chico Dining Room.
Saturday: You’ll start the day by quieting your mind and energizing your body through our special yoga practice with Callie and Jackie as they lead a yin yoga/life drawing session. Next, you’ll find stillness of mind with a meditation on color and energy within the body. After a tasty brunch in the dining room, enjoy some time on your own to relax, perhaps enjoy a massage at the spa or a soak in the hot springs. That afternoon, Paradise Valley awaits you. You can choose to saddle up for an afternoon horseback ride into the majestic Absoroka Mountains, enjoy a beautiful hike to a spectacular Rocky Mountain waterfall or take the afternoon to relax and enjoy a spa treatment and the hot springs. Dinner this evening will be a treat as you enjoy more wonderful cuisine in Chico’s special wine cellar.
Sunday: Morning yoga practice begins the day - incorporating breath, movement and meditation to center, rejuvenate and energize you for the day ahead. After brunch, enjoy a bit of time to soak, enjoy a massage at the spa or just relax in the mountain air. Your canvases await with an oil painting lesson with Jackie that afternoon. A special art celebration will end the day where we can view our final creations while enjoying tapas and tasty beverages before the drive back to Bozeman.

Detailed Itinerary…
Day One
After arriving in Bozeman this afternoon, a shuttle will take you through the beautiful Gallatin Canyon up to your Powder Ridge Cabin, our home for the next 4 nights. Settle in, relax, soak in the hot tub and unwind from your travels with a yoga session. We will have a welcome meeting/dinner, get to know one another a bit and set the stage for the days to come.
Day Two
Begin your day with a morning meditation or chose to get a few more zzzs and join us for our morning yoga/asana practice. After a healthy breakfast let’s get out on the slopes and see what this mountain has to offer. For lunch we will meet back up at the cabin and enjoy a fantastic lunch while we warm up and fuel up for some more snowboarding this afternoon. Conclude the day by soaking your bones in the hot tub and loosening up via an après ski yoga session. Tonight we dine at a local favorite in the Meadow Village, the Lotus Pad.
Day Three
A morning meditation practice is optional again today, followed by an invigorating yoga practice in order to start your day out right. After breakfast, it’s time to enjoy another day on the mountain. Hone your skills today as you are given some tips and individual attention towards your riding or maybe you choose to spend your one on one time exploring chutes or some big mountain riding that Big Sky has to offer. We will meet out on the mountain today for lunch at a fantastic little restaurant. Finish your day with an après ski yoga session to stretch out those muscles, cozy up by the fire, and enjoy dinner in this evening as our private chef creates a gourmet delight.
Day Four
Ease into your day with a silent meditation or enjoy some fruit (offered every morning) and dive into your morning yoga practice to fire you up and prepare you for the days activities. Today, we take a day off of the slopes and explore other options winter activities. Explore some of the many world class nordic trails we have here, go snowshoeing through this winter wonderland, or maybe you would prefer to check out a half day dogsledding adventure. This evening we will enjoy one more gourmet dinner together and take in a little live music under the Big Sky.
Day Five
Our final day together will begin in our traditional way- meditation, yoga practice, a light breakfast and we are out on the slopes. Then come back for a special brunch at the cabin before some begin to make their way back to Bozeman to catch a flight home or stick around for the afternoon and finish out the day making turns.
